FAQ'S
Transferring an existing domain
After we receive an order from you requesting that we transfer
your domain to our server, we submit to the InterNIC a request
for tranfer.
The InterNIC then sends to the Administrative Contact of
your site an acknowledgment. Your email address must be the same
as shown in your Domain Name Registration information. (Click here to check)
The InterNIC will send an e-mail asking for approval to transfer.
What do I do if the Administrative Contact or email is
difference and I want to transfer my domain?
NetGenerations will help you transfer your domain. First
we send a MODIFY DOMAIN form to InterNIC. InterNIC then sends
an acknowledgment request by email to the Administrative Contact.
The Administrative Contact will then reply with an ACK (approve)
or NAK (disapprove) in the appropriate fields.
When do I transfer my site?
We recommend that you maintain your site at your current
host so that there will be no interruption to your site. You
will be given an IP address in the mean time to transfer all
your files to our server.
